RULES

   


Presented by CISTC, a non-profit 501c(3) organization Tax ID # 56-1742516

  1.  Ducks will be launched in King’s Creek at Brevard College at approximately 5:00 p.m. on July 3rd, 2010.  The race course will be established by the Presenter.
  2. All ducks will be provided by the Presenter and will remain the property of the Presenter.
  3. Once the ducks are launched, they will be on their own.  No attempt to free or interfere with any duck is permitted, unless deemed necessary by the Presenter.
  4.  A number will be attached to each duck corresponding to the number on the entry ticket.  Multiple duck purchases from one ticket will be assigned additional duck numbers for identification.  The person whose name appears of the entry ticket, corresponding to the first ducks in order of finish, will be awarded prizes. A list of prizes can be obtained from the Presenter by sending a written request to: CISTC, PO Box 669, Brevard, NC28712.
  5. Presenter reserves the right , at its sole option, to substitute prizes of comparable value.
  6.  Presenter requests a donation of at least $5 per entry to benefit CISTC and its mission in “helping kids stay in school and prepare for life.”  Portions of your contribution may be tax deductible.  Consult your tax expert.
  7. Winners will be announced approximately 1 hour after the conclusion of the race.  Winners will, where necessary, be notified by mail or telephone.  Winners need not be present to win.  If any race winner does not claim his/her prize within 30 days of race date, Presenter will select alternate winner through a random drawing of entry tickets. All prizes will be awarded.
  8.  Any and all taxes and similar fees are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
  9.  By entering, entrants release Presenter, its representatives, and all other related entities from any and all liability with respect to prizes.
  10. Chances of winning depends on the total number of ducks adopted.
